“I paint my own reality”

A free interpretation of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo (1907-1957).

Accidents, love, infidelity, miscarriages, politics, are presented in scenic collages of drama, painting, dance, poetry and music and relate to Kahlo’s passion for painting and her husband Diego Rivera (1886-1957), the then most famous painter in Mexico.

Despite revenge, Diego and Frida find each other again and again, as their love has long been on a different level than the physical.
